Why Serpsoup
Write fewer, better pages.
AI made publishing almost free. It didn't make ranking free. Plenty of sites now have hundreds of thin, overlapping pages that nobody reads. Serpsoup is built the other way round: decide what deserves a page, then make that page worth reading.
Been stung by auto-SEO?
Guessing what people ask
Ask a chatbot what people want to know and you get a plausible list. Plausible isn't the same as what people actually type into Google this month.
A page for every keyword
Auto-SEO tools make it cheap to publish a page per keyword. Many end up chasing the same searches as each other, so none of them wins.
Nobody asks “should this page exist?”
Some searches want a shop, some are already won by a page you have, some don't fit your site at all. Writing anyway costs money and adds clutter.
How Serpsoup decides
- 1
Map what people really ask
Google's live People Also Ask questions, what's asked after each one, what people type next, Bing's questions, forum threads and the YouTube videos that rank.
- 2
Read what ranks now
The top 10 pages for the exact search, what kind of page each is, which questions they answer and miss, how strong those sites are, and who the AI Overview cites.
- 3
Check your own site
With Search Console connected, it spots pages you already have for the topic, so you improve one instead of adding a rival.
- 4
Give a verdict per angle
Each idea gets its own search checked and a plain answer: go, improve what you have, or rethink. With the reasons.
- 5
Write a brief, not an article
Questions to answer, outline, angle, internal links, your site's tone of voice. Reviewed by two AIs, then written by a person.
What it says no to
Real messages you'll see. Each one is a page you didn't pay to write.
- Google ranks shop pages for this search. An article won't compete. Here are informational angles that can.
- Your page already ranks #6 for this. Improve it rather than writing a second one.
- This isn't what your site covers. Write it only if you mean to branch out.
- 14 questions set aside as off-topic: they're about the song, not the drink.
Real Google data
Live questions, the pages that rank and what people say in forums. Not an AI's guess at what people want.
Tells you when not to write
Shop pages win here? You already rank? Wrong fit for your site? You'll hear it before you spend a penny on writing.
Stops page bloat
One topic, one strong page. Off-topic questions are set aside and pages you already have come first.
Questions
- Does Serpsoup write articles?
- No. It writes briefs: the questions to answer, the outline, the angle and what the ranking pages miss. A person writes the page. Two separate AI reviewers check each brief before you hand it over, and nothing is ever published for you.
- Is it an AI tool?
- It uses AI to read and sort real data, not to invent it. The questions come from Google's People Also Ask, autocomplete and Bing; the competition comes from reading the pages that actually rank; the demand comes from Google Ads and Google Trends.
- Will it really tell me not to write something?
- Yes. If Google mostly ranks shop pages, if one of your pages already ranks for it, if the topic doesn't fit your site, or if the top 10 is out of reach, the content plan says so and suggests what to do instead.
- What is page bloat?
- A site with lots of thin pages that overlap, compete with each other for the same searches and answer little that the rest of the site doesn't. It usually comes from publishing a page for every keyword. It's slow to undo and wastes the budget that could have made a few pages genuinely good.
- Who is it for?
- Site owners, in-house marketers, SEO consultants and agencies who want to decide what's worth writing before paying a writer, and to hand that writer a brief built on evidence.
Research your first topic. Write only what's worth it.
